things that i have learnt, and am still learning as a blogger.
-there is a difference between wordpress.com and wordpress.org (i wish i had known that sooner)
-scheduling posts and tweets ahead of time can be a blessing or a curse
-ccs and html hurt my brain
-every conversation, every picture, every outing – doesn’t need to be blogged about (although you’ll want to)
-there will ALWAYS be someone else with a prettier, nicer, shinier… something. but you know what – WHO CARES! stop caring! stop comparing! start valuing what YOU have. i promise you’ll be a happier person because of it. i am.
-there is SO. MUCH. TO. LEARN.
and just when you think you’ve learnt it all. something new comes out. restart learning.
and so – i need to remind myself about why i do this.
for the words. the memories. and the connections to others that they bring.
the time to…
reflect.
to talk.
to discuss.
to romanticize.
to story tell.
to adventure.
